It is just two minutes away from the main entrance to Acadia National Park, and only 600 yards to the dock where the famed 'Cat' ferry makes its daily trip to and from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Set aside from the bustling village, the Bluenose Inn is only a leisurely stroll to its many activities. History buffs appreciate the carefully preserved architecture and array of museums ... music lovers enjoy the host of summer concerts ... the young at heart love the beaches, fishing harbors, mountains, and the many fairs and festivals held throughout the year. You can't help but leave Bar Harbor tanned, relaxed, with a heart full of memories -- and, we hope, plans to visit again! Please note that the Bluenose Inn is a seasonal property. Galen Moses House B&B/Inn
Built in 1874, the Galen C. Moses House is reminiscent of the 19th century grand victorian style. Selected for the National Register of Historic Homes, the home has been opened to the public for the first time. The warm glow of the fire in the library with its built-in shelves and leather upholstered seats, the splendor of the paneled dining room with its fireplace and original appointments and the brightness of the formal parlors where frequent entertainment was the trademark of the original owners--all are relaxing areas for the traveler who stops to spend some time in historic Bath.
